Terms of service
Last updated 7 November 2026
By creating an account on mymoney.lk or the Ithuru mobile app, you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, so please do.
The service
Ithuru helps you record, plan and understand your money. It is a tool for awareness and planning. It is not a bank, does not hold your money, and does not give regulated financial, tax or investment advice. Advice cards are general guidance based on the numbers you enter.
Your account
You must give a real email address, keep your password private and be at least 18 years old, or use Ithuru with a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for what happens in workspaces you own, including the people you invite and the roles you give them.
Plans and payment
Lite is free. Paid plans are billed monthly in Sri Lankan rupees through PayHere and renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from Plan & billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid month. See the refund policy for refunds.
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The change applies from your next billing date after the notice period.
Fair use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people’s data, overload the system, or use Ithuru for anything illegal.
Your data
Your records belong to you. You can export or delete them at any time, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Ithuru running and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Questions: [email protected].
